Who are We?

Who are We?

We are a group of like minded people who share a lack of belief in anything that lacks substantial, empirical or logical evidence.

What do we Do?

What do we Do?

We provide opportunities for members to socialise, learn and come to an understanding regarding their personal belief systems.

Why do we do this?

Why do we do this?

Too long has organised religion, superstition and pure fantasy held the monopoly on what is the best way for human kind to exist as a society. It is time for people with a rational mindset to stand up and be counted.

--::UPDATE::--

The 1st Monday of the month has come around again. Join us for an evening of good food and great company.

There is going to be much to discuss this month with the Global Atheist Convention 2 weeks away and a little thing called the state election on the 13th.

We have extended an invitation to 3 prominent MLCs to join us this evening to give you the chance to talk to them and pick their brains and policies.

So this meetup of the Adelaide Athiests promises to be an exciting one!

Adelaide Atheists Strutting

During a slow day at work, one tends to come up with some great (and some not so great) ideas for AdelaideAtheists. With a number of us travelling to Melbourne for the convention, this presents us with a great opportunity to make ourselves known amongst national and international atheists as a viable group.

The New Mailing List

There is going to be a new address for the AdelaideAtheists mailing list...

discussionatlist [dot] adelaideatheists [dot] org

For those that subscribed during registration, you might like to check your subscription status, as there seems to have been some issues with it.

For everyone else, details of the transfer/migration are yet to be finalised, though when they are they will be announced both here and on meetup.com.
